Andrea Luzi

โˆ™ ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ 1997, Ancona โˆ™ ๐Ÿ“ Lives and works between Vienna, Milan and Filottrano (AN)

He is a visual artist, working primarily through painting, his practice is rooted in a visceral and archaic energy that moves between matter and spirit, exploring states of suspension and transformation and the relationship between physical reality and sensory perception.
Central to Luziโ€™s practice is an investigation into painting as a form of invocation rather than representation. His works often develop through fractal structures, distorted perspectives, and recurring forms, creating spaces inhabited by spiritual presences rather than physical bodies. Drawing on ancient iconography alongside influences from music and graffiti writing, Luzi approaches the image as a field of energy capable of activating contemplation, intuition, and resonance.
Luziโ€™s work has been exhibited in solo and group presentations across Italy and Europe, including Vunu Gallery in Vienna and Bratislava, Rizzuto Gallery in Palermo, Palazzo Fodri in Cremona, 10&ZeroUno in Venice, and the Italian Cultural Institute in New York. In 2025, he took part in a residency at Palazzo Monti in Brescia and was awarded the Isorropia Home Gallery Prize within the Prisma Art Prize.
