Andrea Luzi

His artistic practice grounds in a visceral, archaic energy that traverses matter and spirit like a vital force, boundless and timeless. His paintings are characterized by suspension and transformation, exploring the profound interaction between physical reality and sensory perception, the organic and the inorganic.
Luzi often works following a fractal logic, where infinite replications and distorted perspectives merge like liquid mirrors, creating spaces inhabited not by physical bodies but by spiritual entities dwelling on subtle planes of nature, accessible only through intuition. For Luzi, painting is not representation but invocation: each work becomes a passage toward presences
that reveal themselves only when the viewer attunes to their frequency.
His visual language draws on ancient iconography while intertwining with contemporary influences from his background in music and graffiti writing. His canvas are not fixed narratives but perceptual activations: fields of energy that invite contemplation, meditation, and resonance.
Luzi’s work has been exhibited in solo and group presentations across Italy and Europe, including Barvinskyi Gallery in Wien, Vunu Gallery in Wien and Bratislava, Anni Wu Gallery in Milan, The Bank Foundation in Bassano del Grappa, Rizzuto Gallery in Palermo, Palazzo Fodri in Cremona, 10 & zero uno in Venice, and the Italian Cultural Institute in New York. In 2025, he took part in a residency at Palazzo Monti in Brescia and was awarded the Isorropia Home Gallery Prize within the Prisma Art Prize.
